The rising cost of maintaining and educating children is also supplemented by the costs borne by many families in daycare, school, and many others associated with higher education.
Healthcare costs in pregnancy and labour as well as post-natal and continual medical attention constitute a considerable financial liability. The uncertainties of the economy and the job market make future affordability planning for a family extremely difficult. Most people concentrate on personal and career attainment, travel, and other life satisfactions instead of settling down and starting a family.
These factors are taken into account when a couple is considering starting a family or deciding to adopt a pet companion. While these circumstances don’t change the family playing of a very large section of society it is is becoming somewhat of a notable trend around the world
